MULLAN — The Morning Club in Mullan is preparing for a busy fall season with a pair of community-focused events designed to bring residents together while supporting local causes.
The club's annual Mullan Memorial Craft Show and Raffle is scheduled for Oct. 24-25 at the Morning Club, 117 Hunter St. The event will feature more than 20 vendors offering a wide variety of handmade and specialty items, giving shoppers an opportunity to get an early start on holiday gift-buying.
Vendor offerings are expected to include woodworking, embroidery, quilting, crocheted items, jewelry, photography, handmade soaps and lotions, wreaths, bakery items, jams, honey, freeze-dried candy, custom patches, 3D-printed products, resin art, tie-dye creations, holiday décor and more. Face painting will also be available during the event.
The craft show will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 24 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 25. Organizers say the event is intended to offer unique gift options for family members, friends, teachers and holiday gift exchanges while showcasing the work of local artisans and makers.
In addition to the vendor market, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a raffle benefiting the Megan Bottman Scholarship. The featured grand prize is a season pass to Lookout Pass.
The Morning Club will continue the festivities the following week with its annual Halloween Carnival on Oct. 31. The event will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. and will feature booth games, hot dogs and chili before trick-or-treating begins throughout the community.
The upcoming events offer multiple opportunities for residents and visitors to gather at the Morning Club throughout the remainder of October. Organizers encourage attendees to visit local vendors during the craft show and participate in the raffle and Halloween festivities planned for the following weekend.
