The Flathead Valley Community College Theatre Department presents Jez Butterworth's poignant and provocative play, "Jerusalem."

The play follows Johnny "Rooster" Byron, a charismatic, anti-authoritarian ex-daredevil living in a mobile home in the woods of Wiltshire, England. Set on St. George's Day, local authorities attempt to evict him as his chaotic, myth-laden community of misfits slowly unravels in this poignant, contemporary exploration of the tension between the desire to preserve the magic of the past and the inevitability of change.

The play includes adult themes and profanity and is intended for mature audiences.

Performances will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 22, 23 and 24 and Oct. 29, 30 and 31 in the Joe Legate Black Box Theatre located in the Arts and Technology building.

Tickets are $15 for general admission and $10 for senior citizens. Admission is free for students. Tickets may be purchased at fvcc.edu/theatre or at the box office, one hour prior to each performance.
