Sen. Regier speaks against socialist agenda
The Western News | UPDATED 6 hours, 10 minutes AGO
When did Montana change?
Change, after all, is inevitable, and most changes are matters of preference that we eventually get used to. Some changes, however, go far beyond preferences.
History shows us some fundamental changes that tear down societies and completely destroy the day-to-day life of citizens. One such ominous change is looming on the horizon here in Montana and in America as a whole. That change is a shift to the liberal philosophy that has been called many names, but at its core is the evil ideology of socialism.
The socialist agenda being pushed by Democrats today demonizes productivity. Real Montanans know that hard work is a good thing. It provides worth and a sense of accomplishment for those who tackle problems in our free market.
Could depression and suicide be caused in part by the Left berating productivity, creativity, and success? Who wouldn’t feel meaningless with that mindset?
Socialism destroys communities. The foundation of strong communities is strong families, yet the Left wants to tear down family structures. They don’t even try to hide it. When the now embezzlement disgraced 'Black Lives Matter' organization was at its peak their website stated, among other things, its goal of the destruction of the “western prescribed nuclear family.”
From Planned Parenthood clinics aborting children to the LGBTQ agenda declaring there is no difference between boys and girls, families are constantly in the crosshairs of the socialist agenda. What kind of movement advocates against having a loving mom and a loving dad in a secure family structure? Under socialism, there is no objective truth and no definable morality.
Candidate for MT western House district Sam Forstag has done a good job of hiding his woke agenda behind a chainsaw. When I was Speaker of the House, Sam was the lobbyist for the MT Library Association.
In that role, he pushed to ensure that all Montana elementary school kids had access to the controversial book Gender Queer. He personally signed a House chamber request form to put the book on each 100 MT Representatives’ chamber desks. That book, which has graphic cartoon pictures of oral sex and masturbation, has no place in our children’s libraries. His radical agenda has no regard for reality or morality, and if elected he will support the type of change that will destroy our way of life.
When it comes to change, the Socialist principles will destroy Montana as we know it. We need to stand in the face of that darkness and say, “not in our state.” I understand there are dozens of personal issues that influence who you decide to vote for in each race: taxes, outdoor recreation, education, etc.
In reality, none of those issues will matter if socialists like Sam Forstag are allowed to tear down our society.
