Warren Miller celebrates winter with 'Days Off'
Bonner County Daily Bee | UPDATED 1 day AGO
SANDPOINT — Warren Miller’s latest ski and ride movie, "Days Off," will be shown on the big screen at Sandpoint’s Panida Theater on Saturday night, Nov. 7.
Doors open at 6 p.m., the movie will begin at 7 p.m. All tickets are sold through the Panida website at panida.org/events.
Warren Miller’s 77th release, "Days Off," is a sure sign the ski and ride season is about to take flight in North Idaho. This season, host Katie Burrell will show community members what the best athletes on snow do on their days off — no agenda, no competitions, just pure unscripted joy and the love of the winter season in the mountains.
Of course, no Warren Miller flick is complete without major travel opportunities on a global scale, such as heli-drops in Alaska, high-alpine mountaineering in Chamonix, and the legendary powder of Hokkaido, Japan.
The Independence Ski Team will be back this year with four awesome raffle prizes, given away on stage at intermission. This includes a multi-day Schweitzer Ski Vacation for two, a Sandpoint Wellness Tour, sailing on Lake Pend Oreille, and a Priest Lake Husky Sled Dog Tour. This is in addition to on-site silent auction items, including a case of wine and a Schweitzer season pass.
And … in the true spirit of Warren Miller, on stage, we will call out and award the rider with the most skiing or boarding days with a gift certificate from Jitterz. 2025’s winner had 125 days. Can anyone come close to those numbers this year? Find out.
Summer is long gone, and winter’s greatest tradition is back! Join us for "Days Off" at the Panida Theater.
