Whitefish Pilot | UPDATED 1 hour, 30 minutes AGO
The Whitefish Theatre Company is pleased to announce that film will return to Whitefish on Halloween weekend. Upon the installation of a new 4K, laser DCP projector at the O’Shaughnessy Center, WTC will show “Primetime” (rated R) on Friday, Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. and a special horror, cult classic on Saturday, Oct. 31 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students. Tickets can be purchased on the Whitefish Theatre Company website or at the door on the night of each film.
“Primetime” (2026) is an American satire, horror movie, and psychological thriller directed by Lance Oppenheim (“You Can See Everything”), produced by A24, and based on Luke Dittrich's Esquire article about the 2006 Dateline NBC series “To Catch a Predator”. The movie follows the story of the popular reality show in which Chris Hansen, played by Robert Pattinson, confronted and exposed adult men after they arrived at houses under the presumption they were coming to see a minor. Oppenheim’s “Primetime” completely revels in the frenzy surrounding the American penchant for deriving entertainment from the darkest of true crime subjects, no matter what line needs to be crossed. The movie has been called “part thriller, part media indictment, all driven by a sleazy-good Pattinson” who has been listed on several early season awards lists.
A special, horror cult classic film will be shown on Saturday, October 31 at 7:30pm. Intrigued?? Title of the film can be found on the Whitefish Theatre Company website where tickets can also be purchased. Start your Halloween off right with this frightful classic.
