City Council preview for Nov. 2, 2026

Whitefish City Council meets on Monday, Nov. 2, beginning at 7:10 p.m. at City Hall.

Individuals are encouraged to provide written public comment to the City Clerk, Michelle Howke at [email protected] or deliver by 4 p.m. on Nov. 2, at City Hall in the Utility Drop Box. 

Items on the agenda, subject to change: 

- A resolution approving fees for various services provided by the Planning and Building Department. 

- Consideration of two requests for Whitefish lake and lakeshore variances. 

- Consideration to award the construction contract for the O’Brien Avenue Watermain Replacement project and the engineering contract for the Skyles Place and Lakeside Boulevard construction project. 

- Consideration to grant an easement to Flathead Electric Cooperative at Bakke Nature Reserve. 

- A resolution to make a lease agreement for the Glacier Nordic Club groomer barn. 

- Other matters that may arise between Oct. 28 and Nov. 2. 

There is a work session before the meeting at 6 p.m. for a fire service area update.
