Sunshine report shows varying contributions among District 1 candidates
CHLOE COCHRAN | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 1 day, 23 hours AGO
CORRECTION: The article "Sunshine report shows varying contributions among District 1 candidates" incorrectly stated that Kathryn Larson had the most contributions in the general election. It should have said she raised the most in her race and that Steve Johnson raised the most of any candidate in the general election. Additionally, independent candidates may raise funds only in the general election, while party-backed candidates may raise funds in both the primary and general election. The Oct. 29 article did not report funds raised during the primary election.
SANDPOINT — North Idaho voters will soon choose their next legislators, with District 1 candidates entering the election with varying levels of campaign fundraising.
Idaho Sunshine campaign finance reports detail how much candidates for Legislative District 1 have raised and where that money comes from. The reports show differing levels of support from individuals, businesses and political committees in the district's Senate and two House races.
