Robert Lynn Douglass, 74

Robert Lynn Douglass, 74, of Wallace, Idaho, died at home Oct. 24, 2026, surrounded by family.

Born on June 28, 1952, in San Francisco, Calif., Robert was the child of Bill and Betty Douglass. Known to many as Bob, he graduated from Balboa High School and joined the Navy in the early 1970s. He later served as a fireman with the Wallace Fire Department for several years before retirement.

On Oct. 3, 1976, he married Fran Pelton. Together they shared 39 years of marriage. He will be remembered as a father, grandfather, brother, Papi, and as Tre’s best friend.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Fran; his son, Bobby; his brother, Dave; and his parents, Betty and Bill. He is survived by his brother, Gary Douglass; his sister, Susie Warren; his sons, Michael and Mark; his daughters, Samantha and Kimberley; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, bonus kids and grands, and countless friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
