MISSOULA — Mikenzia Bauer threw two touchdown passes, Bentley Cartwright had a 22-yard pick-6 and the Glacier Wolfpack beat Missoula Big Sky 20-12 at windswept MCPS Stadium Tuesday night.

Bauer was 10 of 14 passing for 127 yards with one interception. Her touchdowns covered 22 yards to Remi Osler and 19 to Addison Kauffman; the latter came with 3 minutes left.

The Wolfpack led 14-0 after Cartwright’s interception return, but saw Big Sky close the gap to 14-12 before Kauffman’s TD.

“We drove the length of the field, ate up clock and scored,” Glacier coach Mark Kessler said. “Our defense was really good. We had thrown two interceptions that led to two real short fields and threw another, but then our defense stood up and got an interception by Norab Contrell.”

Bauer also ran seven times for 66 yards for Glacier; she hit both Osler and Kauffman with PAT passes.

Defensively, Nika Wangerin had 11 tackles, including two tackles for loss and two sacks.

Glacier’s next action is Saturday at 2 p.m. against Butte, at Legends Stadium.
