PUBLIC NOTICE – September 2, 2026 Notice is hereby given that NorthWestern Energy has applied to the Mineral County Floodplain Administrator for a Floodplain Development Permit for work associated with the St. Regis to Haugan 0151C Electric Transmission Project in Mineral County, Montana. The proposed project involves replacement of existing 100kV utility structures with deteriorated crossarms and poles near the St. Regis River between St. Regis and DeBorgia. The northwest site includes structures 015-043, 015-044, and 015-045, and the southeast site includes structure 020-040. Work will require limited crossings of the St. Regis River by Spider Hoe to install new poles adjacent to existing structures. Disturbed areas will be regraded and reseeded following construction. The project is located in Township 18 North, Range 28 West and Township 18 North, Range 29 West, Mineral County, Montana, within Floodplain Map Numbers 30061C0260D and 30061C0290D. The application is available for public review at the Mineral County Environmental Health and Planning Department located at 300 River Street, Superior, MT. INVITATION TO BID Mineral County Detention Center Re-Roof Superior, MT Notice is hereby given that the Mineral County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from qualified Roofing Contractors for the Mineral County Detention Center Re-Roof as specified in the Contract Documents. Mineral County Commissioners will receive bids at the Mineral County Courthouse, Clerk & Recorder’s Office, 300 River St, Superior, MT 59872, until 9:30 am local time, Thursday, September 17, 2026. Bidders shall clearly mark the envelope “SEALED BID – MINERAL COUNTY DETENTION CENTER RE-ROOF.” Bids will only be accepted on the form provided within the Contract Documents. Bids will be opened publicly as part of the Mineral County Commission meeting agenda during their regularly scheduled session on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 10:00 am local time. This project is a reroof of the entire membrane roofing system of the Detention Center, including removal of existing membrane roofing and removal of insulation to provide a dry and leak-free substrate for the new roof system. This work is to include all tools, equipment, materials and labor to complete this project.
