Notice of Public Hearing on the Status of Funded Activities The City of Athol received an Idaho Community Development Block Grant in the amount of $250,000 from the Idaho Department of Commerce. This funding is allocated to the State of Idaho by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The funds are being used to improve Athol City Park, including the construction of restrooms compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and related improvements. The hearing will include a review of project activities and accomplishments to date, a summary of all expenditures to date, a general description of remaining work and any changes made to the scope of work, budget, schedule, location or beneficiaries. The hearing has been scheduled as part of the City’s regular City Council meeting on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. The City Council meeting begins at 6pm in City Hall located at 30355 N. 3rd Street, Athol, Idaho 83801. Project information will be available for review at City Hall during regular business hours.
