Ward, a sophomore forward, recorded a hat trick for the Tigers in a 3-2 win over Coeur d’Alene Charter on Aug. 25 at Timberlake High, the program’s first win over the Panthers since 2016. “She has surpassed my expectations as a forward on the team and is on pace for a 20-plus-goal season,” Timberlake coach Logan Georgeadis said. “Her play against Cd’A Charter was exactly what the girls needed from playing up top. We are definitely thankful to have a team player like Lillee as one of the leaders in our attack.”
