Film fest fundraising party announced

Sandpoint Idaho Film Fest team officials have notified all selected films for the October film festival of their selection following the July 31 submission deadline.
A panel of five judges is currently reviewing nominated films to determine the best entries in each category.
The official fundraising party is set for Sept. 21 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Matchwood Brewing. The event will feature live music by DJ AnT_EyE, a silent auction, raffle prizes, festival merchandise for purchase and a screening of a short documentary. Organizers will also unveil the official handcrafted and hand-printed film festival poster, and attendees will have an opportunity to watch the festival trailer before it is released publicly.
The event will bring together filmmakers, supporters, community members and film lovers to build momentum for the festival and support its continued growth.
Organizers said they continue to secure sponsorships and seek additional funding partners to help make the festival a successful community event in October 2026.
