BF Truck & Tractor Pull, North Idaho Truck Show making return

BONNERS FERRY — Two events celebrating the trucking industry and rural traditions return to Bonners Ferry this September, bringing together families, competitors and truck enthusiasts for a weekend of trucks, competition and horsepower. 

Now in its third year, the North Idaho Truck Show will be held at the Bonners Ferry Parks and Recreation baseball and soccer fields. The free, family-friendly event celebrates the men and women of the trucking industry and features a variety of trucks, including log trucks, cattle haulers, flatbeds, utility trucks and more. 

Truck registration begins Friday, Sept. 18, at 10 a.m. Participants will compete for the Competitors' Choice Log Truck and Competitors' Choice Truck awards, which will be presented Saturday at 3 p.m. 

Registration is $75 per truck and includes a T-shirt, coozie, meal ticket and admission to Saturday night's Truck & Tractor Pull. Proceeds from the truck show benefit maintenance and improvements to the Parks and Recreation fields. 

The weekend continues Saturday, Sept. 19, with the Bonners Ferry Truck & Tractor Pull, presented by Aamodt Inc. and Cascade Pullers at the Boundary County Fairgrounds. 

The pull begins at 6 p.m. and draws competitors and spectators from across the Pacific Northwest. The lineup includes local pickup and semi classes, mini and pro modifieds and multi-engine pullers. 

Registration for pull competitors is $25 per entry and will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. at the west end of the arena. 

Gates open at 5 p.m., with tickets available at the gate only. Admission is $15 for adults and children ages 7 and older. Children 6 and younger are admitted for free. 

Food, beverages and merchandise vendors will be available during the event, followed by a meet-and-greet after the pull.
