Bigfork Playhouse Children's Theatre holds auditions for 'Mary Poppins Jr.'

The Bigfork Playhouse Children's Theatre is holding auditions for its upcoming production of "Mary Poppins Jr."

This high-flying adventure is coming to the stage in Bigfork. Get ready to snap those fingers with some of the most practically perfect characters to ever grace our stage.

Auditions will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 8 at the Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre Center, located at 526 Electric Ave. Students in grades two and three will audition from 4 to 5 p.m., students in grades four through six will audition from 5 to 6:30 p.m., while students in grades seven through 12 will audition from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Please prepare a 30-second monologue or short selection from another play or book. Plan to learn and sing something at the audition. Wear comfortable shoes that you can move and dance in. BPCT welcomes all young performers who are eager to step into the world of theatre and be part of an

exciting, ensemble-driven production.

Performance Dates are Sept. 25 and 26 at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 2 and 3 at 7:30 p.m., and Oct. 4 at 2 p.m.

Not interested in stage work but would like to be involved? Help is needed with the technical parts – building sets, props, costumes, lights and sound. Parent and student assistance is welcome.
