ISP investigating fatal crash

SAGLE — A Sandpoint man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Garfield Bay Road on Tuesday evening, Idaho State Police said in a press release.
ISP troops said a 64-year-old man was driving a 1991 Ford F150 on Garfield Bay Road at about 6:40 p.m. when the vehicle left the roadway on the right shoulder and struck a tree. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene. Next of kin has been notified.
The Bonner County Sheriff’s office, Bonner County Coroner’s office, Bonner County EMS, and Sandpoint Road and Bridge assisted the Troopers at the scene. The roadway remained open throughout the investigation. The crash remains under investigation.
