First Saturday – 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 5 at Ninepipes Museum of Early Montana, south of Ronan; visit with former coach and local author Gale Decker about his book, “The Reservation Tornados,” explore artisan creations and listen to music by traditional flutist and hoop dancer Ryder Parot and acoustic tunes by the Late Bloomers.

Dancin’ Dougie Hall — 7 p.m. Sept. 10 at the St. Ignatius Community Center; come meet and hear from Dougie Hall, a professional saddle bronc rider, motivational speaker and actor from the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. 

Dayton Daze – 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Sept. 12 in downtown Dayton; festivities include an archery tournament, bazaar, craft fair and live music. A parade, hosted by the Chief Cliff Fire Department, begins at 2 p.m., followed by a community BBQ and silent auction. Call 406-360-8597.

Farmers Markets — Polson: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Fridays through the second Friday in October on Third Ave.; the market has over 50 vendors selling locally grown, crafted and baked goods.
