NIC WOMEN'S SOCCER: Cardinals prep for conference with romp

WENATCHEE, Wash. — Sophomore Madeline Cook recorded a hat trick, sophomore Hannah Rommes and sophomore Pauline Klussman had two goals each and North Idaho College beat Wenatchee Valley 13-0 in a nonconference match at Mike Hollis Field on Wednesday. 

“We were hoping to get a lot of kids involved and had a lot that scored goals,” NIC coach Luke Babson said. “We figured it would be a good chance to mix some rotations around and everyone played really well. We wanted to come out and put ourselves in a good position to win in the first half, and we did that.” 

NIC (3-1-1) opens Scenic West Athletic Conference play on Saturday against Pacific Northwest Christian in Kennewick, Wash.

Wenatchee Valley is 1-3.
