LAKES: Boat launch from hell
Don't the taxpayers of Kootenai County deserve a decent boat launch and dock at our lakes, especially Spirit Lake?
The lack of maintenance is obvious. Docks have shifted, leaving large pits to risk damage to boat trailers. Plus, a dock that has become unusable with the dock slipping over 20 degrees, whoever is in charge of the boat launch needs to get it fixed ASAP to avoid a lawsuit.
We all deserve better.
