Law roundup: Report of slashed tires never gets out of park

Catching sight of several people apparently slashing the tires of her vehicle, a woman called the Kalispell Police Department for help. On closer inspection, though, the tires were unharmed.  

Worried about his son, who he had not heard from for about a month, a father asked the police to perform a welfare check. Officers went to the son's home but got no response at the door. A neighbor reported seeing him recently, though, and said he had taken a job where he occasionally worked on the night shift. 

Officers pulled over a white Jeep Commander.  

A woman told the police she was assaulted in a white Dodge Avenger.  

Officers checked in on a man, who was reportedly "acting chaotic" and walking between gas pumps while looking hostile. It turns out the man's vehicle was towed and he suspected someone had stolen it from the tow company's lot. Officers agreed to contact the tow company to get to the bottom of the missing vehicle and otherwise worked to calm the man down.  

Several people found a three-legged dog wandering around a Kalispell apartment complex.  

Officers stopped a pedestrian to remind them about the curfew.  

Someone reported a group of about four people for being loud.  

A woman called the police worried about her daughter. The younger woman was in the middle of a fight with her husband, she said. But then she refused to provide any identifying information and asked that the police not respond.
