Loggers rally to beat Browning, 20-12

BROWNING — Two turnovers, including a pick-six, left the Libby Loggers trailing at Browning last Friday, but they road team turned to its ground game in the second half to rally past the Indians in their season opener.
Senior Tristan DeShazer and freshman Hudson Hannah keyed the ground game. DeShazer led Libby with 128 yards on 25 carries and scored twice, including an 8-yard touchdown in the first quarter and another score in the fourth.
Hannah had 121 yards on 18 carries, while James Woody chipped in 49 yards on 12 attempts. The Loggers piled up 298 rushing yards. Hannah's 3-yard TD run in the third quarter put the Loggers (1-0) on top for good.
Hannah also hit 3 of 6 passes for 76 yards with one interception. Woody started at QB and hit 2 of 6 passes for 31 yards and one interception. Woody added a 30-yard catch after moving to receiver.
Browning’s Chase Horn accounted for both of the Indians’ touchdowns in the second quarter, scoring on an 8-yard run before returning an interception 90 yards for a touchdown.
Both teams committed three turnovers.
The Loggers are on the road again tonight at Stevensville. The Yellowjackets fell 44-0 to Hardin last week. In the 2025 matchup, Libby scored a 42-14 win.
