Teriann Poutre, 66, went home to rest Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 7:15 in the evening.

She grew up in Stillwater, Minn., with her parents, Monroe and Margaret Wood; and her siblings, Sheila, Michael and Joseph.

She was a devout Christian and an outstanding athlete, and she possessed a feisty and mischievous spirit. She was the strongest and most caring woman there ever was. She was always there with a helping hand, kind, encouraging and sometimes with tough words you needed to hear to grow.

She was creative, crafty and would do anything in her power to make your life better. She could build, fix, craft or create anything.

Teri was a lover of animals, devoting her time to rescuing and caring for raptors and volunteering with Birds of Prey Northwest, a passion of hers. She would often put herself in harm’s way to care for both animals and people alike. She would not like people making a fuss over her passing and would prefer that that energy be spent helping others.

She was surrounded by those who loved and looked up to her, including her children, Robb, Lindsay, and Nick, as well as her “adopted” children and grandchildren, Aprill, Brandon, Macie, Emma, and Ever Lytton. We sadly lay to rest this mountain beauty. Her spirit and memory will live on in the good and brightness she has brought to the world.

Family and friends are invited to sign online guest book at coffeltfuneral.com.

Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service.
