NIC VOLLEYBALL: Cardinals bounce back for split in Kansas

COFFEYVILLE, Kan. — Camryn Farrar, a freshman from Coeur d’Alene High, totaled 21 kills on the day for North Idaho College, which went 1-1 on the first day of the Red Raven Volleyball Tournament at Coffeyville Community College on Friday.
NIC fell to Labette 25-14, 25-18, 23-25, 24-26, 16-14 to open the tournament, then swept tournament host Coffeyville 25-16, 25-18, 25-20.
Sophomore Cynthia Reyes also had 21 kills, freshman Zoe Gabreath 56 assists and freshman Taylin Everingham, a Coeur d’Alene High product, 21 digs and seven aces for NIC (7-4), which faces Independence and Neosho County today to conclude the tournament.
