Nick Horne, 66

Nick Horne, 66, of Hayden, Idaho, was called home to be with the Lord on Aug. 4, 2026.

He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Nick loved the Lord, his family, his friends, and the great outdoors. You could often find him at his favorite fishing spot on Hayden Lake, enjoying the beautiful scenery, relaxing, and doing what he loved most — fishing.

He had a generous heart and soul and brought light and love to all who knew him. Nick will be remembered for his warm personality, positive, caring attitude, big hugs, and ability to always bring a good laugh. Though our hearts are broken, our family finds comfort in knowing that Nick is now in the arms of our dear Lord. 

He is survived by his parents, Jack and Valie Horne; sisters, Jessica Hill, Janice Catt, and Jacqueline Sciortino; and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life service Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Real Life Ministries, 1860 N. Cecil Road, Post Falls, Idaho. A reception and lunch will follow the service. 

Nick leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a legacy of love that will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew him.

Until we meet again, Nick, you will be deeply loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
