COEUR d’ALENE — Senior midfielder Izzy Grimmett had four goals and an assist for Coeur d’Alene in a 6-1 win over the Ferris Saxons (0-1) of Spokane at Coeur d’Alene High on Saturday.
“The girls came out strong today and created a lot of opportunities,” Coeur d’Alene coach Andy Vredenburg said. “Izzy had a really good game and really got us going early on. We kind of let down early in the second half, but the girls brought it back together and finished strong.”
Coeur d’Alene (2-3) visits Lake City on Tuesday.
