Garbage was on the menu for a hungry black bear cruising the regular spots in Whitefish.

Probably trying to save a few bucks at the pump, someone siphoned gas from a pontoon boat tied up on Whitefish Lake.

Cheech and Chong were reportedly toking joints while strolling along a Whitefish sidewalk.

A few disheveled-looking men pounding brewskis inside a vacant building on Central Avenue prompted a visit from Whitefish Police.

A caller wanted Whitefish Police to know about a group of transients catching some Zs in the gazebo at Depot Park. "They are hard to miss," the caller assured.

A downtown Whitefish business owner was seeking advice about how to handle harassment on social media and over the phone. The perpetrators were calling the store nonstop, forcing the business owner to pull the cord on their landline.

A purse was reported lost at a tire shop.
