Is it time to clean house at City Hall?

I received a letter that stated about a month ago the city water went bad. In part, the letter said it was no big deal and if you had gotten sick, you should have seen your doctor. (It's like saying, "You blockheads, do we at the City Council have to tell you every move to make?")

We used to get wonderful, clear water from Sand Creek as it came down from the mountains. Now we get pond water from Lake Pend Oreille, where every town up along the Clark Fork River dumps their sewage; and boy does it need a lot of treatment, just check the stuff behind in the glass of water you place on your stove for humidity.

Well back in the days of Prohibition, they would say, "drink more beer." Maybe that's what we should do today.
