Editor's note: Ryan VanLuchene died Aug. 31, 1987.
I would like to take a moment on this sad day to thank the people of Libby for surrounding me with love when my 8-year-old son, Ryan VanLuchene, was murdered.
So senseless.
Repeat child molester Robert Hornback will be released from prison in 2037. My family will continue to show up at his parole hearings.
Today is such a sad day. Thank you all for remembering Ryan.
