Bibi Bachus Smith, of Plains, Montana, passed away on the Lord's Day, August 2, 2026.
Bibi was born in British Guyana on February 8, 1935. She worked in many countries as a secertary, for many companies. She mostly traveled with her father who was an enginer for a few sugar companies, his name was Raul Bachus. Bibi had many relatives in Florida, Jamacia and the Carribean. Her and Larry always had many colorful beads on the entrance to their bedrooms.
Bibi and Larry met at her cousins home in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were married 5 days later in Las Vegas on August 28, 1982. It would have been 44 years last month.
Bibi is survived by her husband, Larry; her sister Caddie (Frances) Ragbir in Trinadad and niece Francis; Cousins, Raymond Singh of Phoenix, Arizona, Shaida of Florida, Robert Appiah of Las Vegas, and many relatives in Canada. She will be missed by everyone.
A Memorial Service will be held on October 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Church on the Move in Plains, Montana followed by luncheon and a graveside service for family only at Plains Cemetery.
