Kevin Barry Reid, 68, passed away at home on Aug. 5, 2026.

Born in Kalispell to William Francis Reid and Ellen Deegan Reid, Kevin graduated from Flathead High School and proudly served in the United States Army, earning the Army Commendation Medal and serving in Germany.

Kevin married the love of his life, Addy Browne, on Sept. 20, 1986. To honor their enduring love and commitment, his celebration of life will be held on what would have been their 40th wedding anniversary. Together they built a family of five children: Ryan, Jennifer, Michelle, Tashena, and Patrick. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Kevin worked for Plum Creek Timber and Evergreen Water and Sewer. He enjoyed NASCAR, gold prospecting, bowhunting, fishing, camping, travel, music, and time spent with family. Following a brainstem stroke at age 49, he faced life's challenges with remarkable resilience, humor, and grace.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ellen Reid; brother John Reid; father-in-law Richard Browne; and brothers-in-law Ty Damaskos and John Steward.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Addy; children Ryan (Virginia), Jennifer (Kaiya), Michelle (Tyler), Tashena, and Patrick; grandchildren Kevin Conor, William, Abraham, Mia, Zoe, and Finlay; mother-in-law Linda Browne; siblings Janet (Bob) Casne, Maureen Stanaway, Tom (Nancy) Reid, Lola Wentworth, Larry (Julie) Reid, and Brian (Sherry) Reid; sisters-in-law Linde (Mike) Pavlik, Janet (Bob) Liston, Julie Steward, and Barb (Dwayne) Nielsen; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sept. 20, at Big Arm State Park, 28031 Big Arm State Park Rd., Big Arm, Montana. A potluck reception will follow, and carpooling is encouraged.
