Noxon volleyball fans this is your big chance, your first opportunity to see your Lady Red Devils play in Noxon sporting their brand new jerseys, supplied through the generousness of their supporters and fans.

Coach Toni Richter and her Lady Devils have a Mineral County kind of week on tap, hosting the St. Regis Tigers Thursday and the Superior Bobcats Saturday. Richter and company head to Clark Fork Monday for a friendly intrastate battle with the Wampus Cats.

Senior Sandy Bonney, sophomore Nevaeh Christensen and freshman Sydnie Eichert are this seasons’ teams captains Richter said, adding that there are 26 girls out for Noxon volleyball this fall.

“That’s a pretty big group of young ladies for Noxon,” Richter said, “but I have a great group of volunteer coaches, and hopefully an assistant coach in the near future. It’s going to be a great year.”

The Red Devils began season at the one-day Granite County Tipoff tourney two weeks ago (Aug. 28) and made it out of pool play before falling to host Philipsburg. Richter said the Devils learned a lot and enjoyed their day of play in Granite County.
