Planning Board

The Flathead County Planning Board meets Sept. 16 at 6 p.m., 40 11th Street West Suite 200, Kalispell.

Bigfork School Board

The Bigfork School Board meets Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 5 p.m. at the high school library.

9-11 memorial

9-11 Honor and Serve Memorial ribbon cutting and dedication is Sept. 11, at 11:30 a.m. at the Bigfork VFW Post 4042. This event is open to the public.

Fire Department fundraiser

The 20th annual Friends of Bigfork Fire Department’s “FUN-draising” event is Friday, Sept. 11 at 5 p.m. at Harbor Village pavilion. Meal tickets are $7 for children under 12, $15 for adults and $30 for a family of four.

Alzheimer’s walk

The Bigfork Senior Center will take part in the Walk to end Alzheimer’s on Oct. 3 at Lawrence Park in Kalispell at 10 a.m.

Board of Adjustment

The Flathead County Board of Adjustment meets Oct. 6 at 6 p.m., 40 11th Street West Suite 200, Kalispell.

Parent-teacher conferences

Bigfork Schools holds parent-teacher conferences on Oct. 30.

Somers-Lakeside School Board

Meetings are held on the third Monday monthly at either Somers School or Lakeside School.

West Shore craft night

West Shore Community Library hosts a craft night the second Tuesday of the month from 6-8 p.m. Free and open to all adults. 

West Shore Community Dinner

The free community dinner is on the second Friday of each month from 5-6:30 p.m. Meet at The Gathering Place in Lakeside.

Bigfork Senior Center

Hot lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Recommended donation for meals is $4 for seniors age 60 and over, $6 for non-seniors. 

Community meal

A free community meal is at Bethany Lutheran Church every Wednesday. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. The church is at 8559 Montana 35.

Lakeside Senior Lunch

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m.-noon, at the Lakeside Chapel Gathering Place. To reserve a plate call Janice at 406-250-0148. $4 for 60 and older, $6 for anyone under 60.
