BOUNDARY COUNTY, IDAHO SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 2026- 2 BOUNDARY COUNTY PLANNING & ZONING FILE #2026-0121 STANDARDS & PROCEDURES TITLE & SUMMARY: An Ordinance of Boundary County, Idaho, amending the Boundary County Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance 2019-1 (also known as 9B18LOV2 and codified at Chapters 153 and 154 of Boundary County Code of Ordinances) titled “Standards & Procedures” that: Specifies that references to Idaho Code includes future amendments and renumbering; updates Planning and Zoning Commission duties and organization; updates placement permit procedures; allows residential placement permits to be transferable to subsequent owners; establishes expiration dates for residential placement permits to match the 2-year expiration date of commercial and industrial permits with permits remaining valid as long as work continues on the permitted structure; removes a regulation that invalidates an issued commercial/industrial permit if the building’s use is discontinued; adds extension allowances for placement permits and conditional use permits; removes a requirement that all special purpose districts sign final plats; corrects typographical and grammatical errors; corrects and updates references to rights of appeal, various outdated Idaho Code sections, record maintenance, conflicts of interest, and legal noticing; and removes references to the former Area of City Impact; and provides severability and an effective date.
