NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES AND GRANT ADMINISTRATION SERVICES. The TOWN OF ST IGNATIUS in Lake County is seeking an engineering firm to provide on-call enigneering services for a period of up to five years, at the descretion of the Town. The services may include, but are not limited to, design, surveying, construction administration, grant writing, and/or grant administration services, and all other engineering services the Town may need. The services to be provided will include, but not be limited to: · Design and construction administration assistance of water system improvements, wastewater collection and treatment system improvements, transportation (street improvements, intersections, pedestrian traffic) and building systems as necessary; · Assist in securing project funds from sources such as CDBG, TSEP, SRF, RD and/or DNRC; · Assist with oversite of grant administration; · Updates to existing Preliminary Engineering Reports and grant applications; · On-call Engineering Services to assist in review of new subdivisions and developments, address impacts of new developments, and verify new developments are being built per Town standards. The Town may, at its option, utilize the selected engineer for project management, final design, bidding, construction management, and post-construction services for water/wastewater, transportation, building systems, utilities, recreation, Town facilities, public properties and natural resources projects. Engineering services are anticipated to be utilized for Project Management of the 2026 Sewer Replacement Project funded by the MCEP, DNRC/RRGL, EPA, and SRF programs. Responses shall be limited to no more than twelve (12) pages excluding resumes and should include: 1. The firm’s legal name, address and telephone number; 2. The principal(s) of the firm and their experience and qualifications; 3. The experience and qualifications of the staff to be assigned to the project; Include at least three (3) references; 4. A description of the firm’s current work activities and how these would be coordinated with the project as well as the firm’s anticipated availability during the term of the project; 5. A list of experience working in a similar capaicity for similar sized communities involving Public Water and Sewer Systems (include a contact telephone number.) Respondents will be evaluated according to the following criteria: Overall quality of the proposal; 10% Proximity of the location of the engineering firm to the project area; 20% Prior experience of assigned staff with similar projects and funding; 30% Engineering firm’s work experience with the Town; 20% Availability of staff to be assigned to this project; 10% References 10% The selection of the successful firm(s) will be based on an evaluation of the written responses and an interview if the Town deems the latter is necessary.
