I am seeking this change in good faith because I sincerely wish for my legal name to correspond with my present identity and the person I have become. I understand that a legal name change is a significant matter. I respectfully ask the Court to recognize my right to establish a name that reflects my current identity and beliefs and to grant my petition to change my name from Muhammad Abdul Almustafa to Alexander Theodore Vanderbilt.
