American Red Cross Emergency Shelter Training — 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Polson Rural Fire Department; this class is an opportunity to become part of the auxiliary shelter workforce during a disaster. The training teaches how a Red Cross shelter operates, how to create a welcoming environment and how community members can help.
