Opinion: Supporting Dalton Bradford for HD 13

I am a teacher and business owner, writing to express my support for Dalton Bradford for House District 13.

Dalton brings the perspective and attitude that we want in this office. He is a consensus-seeker who will work with everyone to seek the things that all of us in Montana want: fair and accountable property taxes, supporting public schools, promoting rural healthcare needs, and protecting public lands.

Dalton has extensive experience with property taxes, and understands the issues that all of us face with rising property values and unfair and overly complicated appraisal systems.

He understands how important strong public schools are to all of us in the community and to our young people. The future our children will inherit is going to require critical thinkers and problem solvers, not drones that just regurgitate political slogans.

Dalton understands the importance of keeping public lands available to the public. The ultra-wealthy are trying to buy up public lands so that they can exploit them for profit. It’s more important than ever that we have a legislature that recognizes the importance of making sure that we ALL have access to the Montana that is so important to all of us. Dalton is the candidate that will not sell us out to big-money.

In a political world that is becoming more divided we need people who are respectful of everyone. In a world inhabited by screaming toddlers let’s send a voice of reason.

Vote for Dalton Bradford in November. I know I am.
