Vote for the candidates, not the letter

When voting, it seems to me if a person were to remove the “D” and the “R” from behind a candidate’s name the choices would be simpler.  

An informed voter could read candidates' positions on important issues and vote for the one with the most experience, knowledge, and alignment with one’s own ideals and priorities and vote for them. 

For me, this would show that the clear choice for Idaho House Seat 1A is Karen Matthee. She supports my interests in protecting public lands, expanding access to rural healthcare to all, the belief that everyone deserves dignity, respect and equal rights under the law, and she sees the need to invest in public education.
