Hope 4 Kids Hygiene Drive returns

Following a successful inaugural year, Numerica Credit Union, 4 News Now and Project Beauty Share are partnering again for our Hope 4 Kids Hygiene Drive, expanding the initiative from nine to 14 public school districts across Greater Spokane, North Idaho, Stevens County and Ferry County.
Last year, the community donated 10,719 pounds of essential hygiene items to nine local school districts, representing nearly 82,800 students. This year, with five additional districts requesting help, organizers are including districts in Stevens and Ferry counties, allowing the drive to reach even more students and families across the region.
“Every child deserves to walk into school feeling confident, comfortable and ready to learn, and having access to basic hygiene essentials can make a meaningful difference,” said Julie Farley, executive director of Project Beauty Share.
From Sept. 5 through Oct. 5, community members can donate new, unopened hygiene products at any Numerica Credit Union branch, any CVS Pharmacy location, or to Project Beauty Share, 2718 E. Sprague Ave.
Needed items include shampoo, soap, deodorant, oral care products, brushes and combs, and other personal care essentials. Monetary donations are also welcome and will be used to purchase high-need products: https://projectbeautyshare.org/hope-4-kids-hygiene/.
“Last year, our community came together in an amazing way, helping us deliver more than 10,000 pounds of hygiene products to school districts. We’re excited to build on that momentum and expand our reach this year. Together, we can help make sure local students have the essentials they need to thrive," Farley said.

Donate Items: Drop off new, unopened hygiene products at any Numerica Credit Union branch In Spokane or North Idaho, any CVS Pharmacy location in Spokane, or at Project Beauty Share, 2718 E. Sprague Ave., Spokane.
