In Loving Memory of Irene Sirey
1945–2026
We’re sad to share that our beloved mom, grandma, great-grandma and friend, Irene Sirey, passed on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2026.
Irene was a longtime part of the Libby, Montana, community.
She spent most of her adult life working at Henry’s Cafe and Venture Inn Cafe, where she got to know so many people and became a familiar face. Libby was home to her, and the friendships and memories she made meant the world to her.
She’s now at peace and reunited with her beloved husband, at some hunting camp with Bart Teske. It brings us comfort knowing they’re together again.
She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Elizabeth Benefield-Johnson and Sadie Moss; her grandsons and her great-grandchildren.
She also leaves behind a few very special people she lovingly called family: Millers - Mike, Rebecca and Caleb.
Our hearts are heavy, but we’re thankful for the years we had with her, the stories she shared, the love she gave and all the memories we’ll always hold onto.
Gone, but never forgotten.
Rest peacefully, Mom.
Until we meet again, you’ll always be loved and forever in our hearts.
There will be no services at this time.
Arrangements are under the care of Schnackenberg and Riddle Funeral Home of Libby, MT. Online condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.schnackenbergfh.com.
