Kylan, a kind, sweet soul who brought warmth and light to everyone he met, has passed away on Aug. 23, 2026, leaving an enormous hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. An avid lover of the great outdoors, Kylan was happiest when surrounded by nature. He found joy carving fresh paths snowboarding, casting a line while fishing, or spending peaceful afternoons swimming at the river. Almost always, a faithful dog was by his side, sharing in his adventures.

Kylan possessed a rare and beautiful gift: he was a friend to all walks of life. He never met a stranger and could effortlessly strike up a meaningful conversation with anyone who crossed his path. To know Kylan was to know his unforgettable smile, a bright, mischievous, welcoming expression he proudly shared with his great-grandfather, Roy “Red” Lewis.

His gentle spirit, open heart, and vibrant love for life will be deeply missed but never forgotten by his family, friends, and the many lives he touched.

Survived by mother Brenda Baldwin, father Farrell Fuechsel, sisters Breanna Fillmore and Sarah Fuechsel, brother Dylan McBride, grandmother Sarah Duncan, a nephew, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceded in death by grandparents Patty and Fred Fuechsel Jr. of Elizabeth Park, Idaho, and Frank Baldwin of Mississippi; and by great grandparents Lois and Roy Lewis of DeBorgia, Mont., and Frederick Sr. and Charlotte Fuechsel of Kellogg, Idaho.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 13, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. at the Hagadone Event Center, 984 to 986 S. Floating Green Drive, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814.
