Libby football falls to Stevi; hosts Hamilton

The Loggers return home Thursday, Sept. 17 to host Columbia Falls. The Cfalls girls squad is the defending state champ and is coming off a 10-0 win over Browning. The Wildcats boys team is coming off a 2025 season that saw them advance to the state semifinals before falling to eventual champion, Polson, on penalty kicks.
The Libby Loggers football team hosts their first game of the 2026 season after a 1-1 start on the road.
The Loggers led Stevensville (1-1) 6-0 at halftime after freshman Hudson Hannah caught a touchdown pass from senior quarterback James Woody in the first quarter.
But three turnovers plagued the Loggers (1-1) and the Yellowjackets scored a pair of fourth quarter TDs for a 14-6 win.
According to statistics from the Libby coaching staff on maxpreps.com, Woody completed 12 of 24 passes for 115 yards with one TD and two interceptions. Hannah caught five passes for 44 yards while Jackson Riddel had two receptions for 11 yards.
Riddel and Woody each ran for 21 yards, but overall the Loggers were held to 51 yards on the ground.
Stevensville sophomore quarterback Kadeen Mouhallam hit 13 of 23 passes for 216 yards with one TD. Senior receiver Kaden Wyant had a big game with 10 receptions for 153 yards and a touchdown.
