Libby girls place fourth at Whitefish Invitational

The Libby Loggers golf team competed against a strong field last Wednesday at the Whitefish Invitational, with the girls placing fourth and the boys finishing ninth at Whitefish Lake Golf Course.

Libby’s girls combined for a team score of 458, finishing just two strokes behind third-place Columbia Falls at 460. Whitefish won the tournament with a 325, followed by Corvallis at 378 and Frenchtown at 400.

Quinley Leckrone led the Loggers individually, firing a round of 99 to finish among the top 15 golfers in the girls field.

On the boys side, Libby finished ninth with a team score of 454.
