Patricia Ann Martin, 86

Patricia (Trish) Ann Martin, a resident of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Born on Nov. 10, 1939, in Chicago, Ill., passed away Aug. 23, 2026, at the age of 86. She lived a life defined by compassion, dedication, and quiet strength, touching many through her work and her presence.

Patricia spent her career as a Psychologist at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she devoted herself to teaching, guiding, and supporting students. Her passion for education carried into her personal life as well. She found joy in teaching and practicing yoga as well as participating in her Parkinson's Support Group in Coeur d’Alene, where she offered encouragement and understanding to others facing similar challenges.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alexander Franklin Martin; her parents, William Harrah and Helen Tegarden Harrah; and her brothers, William Harrah, Robert Harrah and John E. Harrah.

Patricia leaves behind a loving family and friends who will forever cherish her memory. She was the devoted mother of Daniel Martin and Nicole Carrel, grandmother to Zander Martin, Zak Carrel, Orion Carrel and William Martin, great-grandmother to Remy Martin and Kash Martin, and aunt to John S. Harrah. Her family was her greatest joy, and she embraced each role with warmth, patience, and unwavering affection.
