Flathead, Glacier pick up volleyball wins over Butte

Brynn Kossman had 12 kills and two blocks, and the Flathead Bravettes picked up their first volleyball victory Saturday, beating Butte in five sets at the Flathead gym.
Reagan Castillo added seven kills, nine digs and three aces in Flathead’s 22-25, 26-24, 17-25, 25-19, 15-9 win. Reilly Judd had 23 digs; Makenna Aldrich put down eight kills. Anna Bain had a team-high 17 assists.
The Bravettes are 1-6 overall and 1-1 in the Western AA. They fell to Hellgate in three sets on Thursday.
Butte fell to 1-4, 0-2.
Friday
Glacier def. Butte 3-2
Glacier’s Kyle Gully and Allie Krueger had 14 kills each and the Wolfpack rallied from down two sets to beat Butte for their first conference win Friday.
Aria Stewart had seven aces and 10 digs for the Pack (2-4, 1-1 in league). Madi Stevens had 34 assists and 10 digs and Elsa Airhart chipped in with seven kills. Addison Thramer also had 10 digs.
