Mary K. Egle, 90, passed on Aug. 29, 2026, in Auburn, Washington. She was born Feb. 18 to Dan and Dorothy Radakovich and raised in Keewatin, Minnesota. She graduated from Keewatin High School. In November of 1955, she married Blaine Egle.
Blaine worked in construction, so they moved from Minnesota to Colorado, Montana and Alaska. Once traveling for employment ended, they settled in Kalispell. When her husband passed, she moved to Auburn, Washington, to be closer to her daughters.
Mary worked as a secretary/bookkeeper for 30 years. Her employment included the Missoula County Welfare Department, Kodiak and Anchorage School District and St. Matthew's Parish.
She retired in 1986 and traveled with Blaine in their motor home. She loved traveling, seeing new places and making new friends.
When she was not traveling, she worked as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, St. Matthew's Parish, Flathead County Library and several other organizations. When not volunteering, her passion was reading, and she especially enjoyed a good mystery novel.
Per Mary's request, there will be no funeral or service. She asks that any contribution in her name is made to the Auburn Humane Society, 4910 A St. SE, Auburn, Washington 98092.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Blaine and her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughters Christine and Kathy and many nieces and nephews.
She will be missed by many for her smile, laugh and good nature.
