PREP ROUNDUP: Eggleston, Coeur d'Alene teams win at Timberlake Farragut Invitational

ATHOL — Lola Eggleston, a senior at Timberlake High, won the Timberlake Farragut Invitational, finishing in 18 minutes, 35.51 seconds at Farragut State Park on Saturday.
Coeur d’Alene junior Anna Christman was second in 18:41.24, one of three finishers in the top 10 for the Viking girls, who won the girls team title with 70 points. Sophomore Victoria Howard was fourth, freshman Brooklyn Caywood sixth for Coeur d’Alene.
Coeur d’Alene junior Wyatt Morgenstern was second in the boys race, leading the Viking boys to the team title with 35 points. Juniors Rowan Henry (third) and Blaise Howard (sixth), and senior Gabriel Heule (10th), also finished in the top 10.
Seniors Caleb Royce (seventh) and Jonathan Barnhart (ninth) finished in the top 10 for Timberlake, which finished third with 99 points.
Junior Kai Budensiek was fifth, senior Elizabeth Storms (ninth) and Ruthie Laughridge (10th) for Sandpoint.
Gonzaga Prep sophomore Miro Parr-Coffin won the boys race in 15:03.63.
