MINERAL COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PUBLIC MEETING – REQUEST TO AMEND SUBDIVISION CONDITION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Mineral County Board of County Commissioners will hold a public meeting on Thursday, September 24, 2026, to consider a request submitted by Jerry and Michelle Lukkasson to amend a condition of approval for the Elk Run II Minor Subdivision, Lot 5, located near St. Regis, Montana. The request is to amend an existing no-build area condition placed on a large portion of Lot 5. The property owners have purchased Lot 5 and are proposing to construct a single-family residence within the existing no-build area.The no-build area was established as part of the subdivision approval based on considerations including public health and safety and emergency service access. The proposed amendment will be reviewed by the Board of County Commissioners, including consideration of impacts to emergency response and access to the proposed residence.
