Eggleston, a senior, won the Timberlake Farragut Invitational on Saturday at Farragut State Park in Athol, finishing in 18 minutes, 35.51 seconds. “Lola executed a perfect race plan Saturday,” Timberlake coach Shawn Lawler said. “She exemplifies our team motto of ‘smart early, tough late.’ She started the race in third, then took the lead late for the win. Her progression has been incredible, running 21-minute 5ks as a freshman to 18 minutes as a senior.”
