Columbia Falls volleyball dispatches Browning

Wildkat volleyball swept the Browning Lady Indians 25-5, 25-11, 25-20 on Saturday at home.

“Our seniors did so well the first two sets that I played a younger group for the third set,” said head coach Jolandie Brooks on Saturday’s matchup.

Rylee Sweeney and Anabelle Middlesworth would both lead the Kats in kills with seven, while Jezanie Brooks would accumulate 24 assists, followed by Sweeney with 23. Offensively, the team would amass a total of 29 kills and 18 aces, with seven of those aces coming from Brooks. Additionally, Kamryn Ladenburg and Peyton Ross would each have one block apiece.

Defensively, Ava Scholz would be a powerhouse with six of the Kats’ 19 digs.

Columbia Falls faced Polson Tuesday after presstime.

“We’re looking forward to the Polson matchup on Tuesday.  It should be a good one!” said Brooks.
